DES PLAINES - Senator Laura Murphy (D-Des Plaines) expressed her support for the Independent Maps Initiative and stated her disappointment in the Cook County Circuit Court's ruling that initiative was not able to meet the constitutional requirements needed for the measure to be voted on in November.
