Suburban high school freshman suspended after refusing to wear a mask: ‘She knows she has the right to make decisions about her own body’

The parent of a suburban high school freshman who was suspended on the first day of school and sent home for not wearing a mask said Friday that her daughter’s rights were violated by Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s state masking mandate.
